Live insertions

Things like bugs, parasites, or fungus being inserted inside a character, graphically described and played in a serious manner.

Killing of children in RP

Killing children in RP (Not backstories). Jokes are fine or if this is played off comedically (like in cartoonish narratives) but I do not enjoy engaging in active and serious RP that involves encouragement of killing child characters.

Graphically detailed car accidents

Jokes about characters crashing cars are funny and I don’t mind humorous videos or memes. I would just like to avoid car accidents in RP when they are graphically written out. If my character gets into a car accident, just say the accident occurred and very briefly what happened (i.e. They drove into a ditch, got rear-ended, was a victim of road rage, etc.)

Unsanitary themes

I think gross-out humor is the funniest thing ever. I also like my OCs. If you are a stranger, do not combine the 2 beacuse they will repel like magnets if done incorrectly and blow up.

Availability

I usually list my availabilty in my Discord bio. I have boundaries as a mod to prevent/reduce burnout. Often, I am available to help whenever I am logged-on and feel like doing so, but please do not expect me to actively tackle modding responsibilities unless I am "clocked-in". If you repeatedly cross my boundaries I am going to print a picture of your character out and eat it on video call.

Player conflict

I am well equipped to handle confliect and disputes, and am usually the one on any mod team that handles conflicts. This does NOT mean I enjoy it nor always have availabilty to do so. Please try to resolve issues amongst yourselves before bringing it to me. If petty disputes occur, I will just @everyone in the server to watch you.

I RP exclusively on Discord, however will use Google Docs ONLY to archive RPs. In regards to Discord, I prefer RP servers if I am part of an RP group (don’t mind if they’re public or private threads), but private DM RPs are okay if it’s too heavy in some way to the group or should be kept a secret, or for HCs.

I prefer RPing in groups of at least three! I RP best with 3-5 participants if you are looking for longer responses, but I think large groups are fun as well - my replies just won’t be as long but rather short and to the point. I prefer to establish a general order of replies in groups so that everyone including myself can have a chance to properly respond, but I am not too picky about that. In regards to 1x1 RPs, I think these are fun as well, but they can be difficult for me to remember to respond to. I do a lot better in 1x1 with friends, or as HCs!

I tend to write a lot sometimes, especially when I really get into the swing of the rp or if I have very chatty characters, but please do not be intimidated by this! If your reply is shorter I will not take it as an offense, especially if it is your preferred way of replying. I have a tendency to describe my environment in detail because I love adding character to settings, as well as describing small subtle/mundane quirks my characters do, and it often makes my paragraphs a bit bulky. However, I tend to avoid flowery language and prose. Most of my replies in RP groups will be 1 sentence to 3 large paragraphs (not including dialogue), and since I go balls to the walls sometimes in my responses, I do not mind at all if your responses are shorter than mine! So please do not feel intimidated by me.

I ONLY lit RP with those in the same active RP groups as I am, so if we are then you are more than welcome to seek out an RP with me! For friends and inactive RP groupmates, I am always open to HCs. I do not RP with strangers, and I do not RP in private DMs/Threads if I don’t know you yet (which can be as simple as our characters interacting once in a public thread or doing HCs if we are in the same RP group).

I usually reply within: 1-3 days

If I'm fast, I reply within: 30 minutes - 1 hour

When I'm slow, I tend to reply within: 1 - 2 weeks

When I'm really really busy, I will reply: I would ask to switch over to HCs

I’m totally patient with the length of time depending on the RP topic and as long as you keep me updated! By RP topic I mean, if it isn’t time sensitive in regards to the group’s plot events, otherwise I would be totally fine if we HC instead to quickly establish key points.

I typically reply within a few hours, especially in live/open public RP threads, and do not need reminders for RP responses. I do not like being reminded, however if it has been a week you are more than welcome to reach out to me in case I really did forget. I typically will give you a heads up if I am going to be unavailable though.

Within 1-2 weeks

Just to check in, in case they have forgotten or how they’re feeling, and especially if we are constrained by the RP group’s settings/events to move along (so long as I was not explicitly notified of a person’s hiatus). I do not expect an RP reply when I do reminders, but rather just an update from all parties involved to see where they are at and see what to prioritize.

MAX NUMBER OF RPS I HAVE AT A TIME. . .

I can usually take on 1-3 serious/lit RPs at a time if they are 2-5 groups of people. I can jump into faster-paced and silly RPs at any time.

NOTE: I do not do romance ship with teenagers and strongly prefer my ship-mates to be 21+

Shipping

I am comfortable shipping my characters...

For me personally, when I refer to “shipping” in regards to my own characters, I mean any type of relationship with my character, not restricted to just romance. Many of my characters' narratives are related to struggles in amatonormativity, and the way I tend to ship characters often reflects this. Please do not take this as a sign I am uninterested in shipping, but rather have an understanding that I don't find satisfaction in just romance endgame ships. I want the FLAVOR. I want hard feelings and confusion and falling outs and what-we-could-haves. I am really picky with shipping because I also equally enjoy friendships and enemies/exes, and it depends on the character I am playing as well (they typically will have their own section on shipping permissions on their apps). I also typically play flirty or openly intimate/touchy characters in RP groups, but these are NOT invitations to ship with your character, nor am I shipchasing you. This is simply the way my characters are, and I am uninterested in shipping right off the bat even at the first sign of flirting. I'm totally fine with other characters developing crushes or any sort of one-sided strong feelings for mine, just give me a heads up if so! And just be aware it may or may not be reciprocated. Additionally, my characters may or may not develop crushes/strong feelings as well, but I do not expect or ask them to be reciprocated, and may not even ask to ship. If we are good friends, you are more than welcome to really just throw your characters at mine whenever you feel like it and suggest a ship of any kind, or an AU even.

I'm a firm believer in letting characters “sniff each other through the door” first to get a vibe of others, and want to give my characters opportunities to explore dynamics with other characters before settling on an unestablished ship of any kind, whether it’s an endgame ship, one that devolves into a break-up, or whatever else! I strongly prefer when relationships of all kinds develop organically through RP rather than simply just discussion to see what sort of chemistry they may have, though those discussions can lay the foundations for how our characters may initially feel about one another. If you are interested in shipping, you can definitely notify me at any time, even at the start. Just be aware I may decline it, especially if it’s still early on in the RP setting. Friends can talk about the possibility of pre-established history ships in a setting with me at any time.

Speed

You are dealing with the slowest slow burner in the existence of slow burns. It also ultimately depends on the type of character dynamic we are doing and if it’s something our characters would do or want as well. If you love torture and agony, propose a ship with me. Also, I am open to characters exploring fleeting and casual relationships like hookups and FWBs that don’t have to end in romance.

Smut

When my characters get intimate, I prefer...

Skip the act entirely / Write build up, skip act / To write the act only if it’s special / Write it all the way through

I don’t have a strong opinion on this. However, I think I currently prefer to stick to HCs in private DMs if we are going to discuss any sexual interactions between our characters.

Violence

I have some characters that may provoke fights or do stupid things that get themselves and others hurt, and I'm totally all for cartoon violence. This is typically related to dice rolls for me though, and my characters typically SHOULD have an opportunity to disengage/de-escalate if they so wish (can also be based on dice rolls) or if I cannot handle it. Any violence done to the hands/nails, eyes, or mouths skeeves me out though and I would like to avoid that.

DO NOT PHYSICALLY TORTURE MY CHARACTERS NOR SEXUALLY ASSAULT THEM.
